Orofacial myology is therapy which facilitates improved facial, tongue, and lip movement, which in turn improves chewing, swallowing, speech, and posture. The focus is on tongue and lip exercises to increase control of the facial and tongue muscles. Head, neck, and body posture are also addressed, which aid in the proper head carriage and the development of good tooth alignment.
